~Walking In The Light~
In this podcast, Elders Randall & DeBorrah K. Ogans share biblically based insight, guidance, and advice on Life & Living, Marriage & Relationships, Family & Parenting, Faith & Belief, Church & Religion, Spiritual Health, and more.
Weekly episodes encourage listeners to live life out loud, walking/living in the light, doing what the Lord requires of us in every area of life. What does the Lord require of us? To act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God.
Jesus said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life".
To walk in the light is to have a daily commitment to living out a righteous life. Blessed(happy) are those who walk in the light of His presence. His word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. For it is in Him that we live, and move, and have our being.
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanseth us from all sin.
Always keep in mind, the transforming power of the Lord, is truth. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you.

Where Does God Dwell?
In this episode we discuss the dwelling place of God. Specifically focusing on God dwelling within His people. We share information about the establishment of the first temple, built by King Solomon, as well as some of the exquisite places of worship we have visited around the world.
While these places can be dedicated to worship, and serve as gathering places for believers, God's true dwelling place is in the hearts of His people. God is not confined to physical structures like temples or church buildings.
One of our most memorable trips was to Athens, Greece and Istanbul, Turkey.
In Greece, we visited Mars Hill, the place spoken about in the book of Acts.
In Istanbul, Turkey we visited the ruins of the city of Ephesus, as well as the renown Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.
Mars Hill was a place where people worshipped various idols. The Apostle Paul preached a sermon to remember, to the men of Athens on Mars Hill. He told them that in all things they were too superstitious. He saw an altar with this inscription, "TO THE UNKNOWN GOD", whom they ignorantly worshipped. Paul declared to them, that is the God that made the entire world, and that He does not dwell in Temples made by hands.
In the book of 1 Corinthians, Paul tells the Corinthian church " Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst?"
When discussing sexual immorality, Paul says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."
When you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior, your body becomes a temple for the Holy Spirit. He comes in and fills your temple. Treat your temple with reverence and respect, for it is a sacred space. Be mindful of what you do with your body. In the book of Romans, Paul says "to present your body as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service"
