Jesus said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life".
To walk in the light is to have a daily commitment to living out a righteous life. Blessed(happy) are those who walk in the light of His presence. His word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. For it is in Him that we live, and move, and have our being.
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanseth us from all sin.
Always keep in mind, the transforming power of the Lord, is truth. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you.

When we think of the Christmas story, our minds often conjure peaceful, serene images: a silent night, a gentle mother and child in a humble manger, the soft glow of a guiding star. We sing carols about heavenly peace and the sleep of a newborn king.
The full Christmas story is far more complex and profound than a simple, silent night. It is a narrative that contains political espionage, a desperate escape for survival, and the tragedy of a state-sanctioned massacre. It's a story charged with tension, fear, and remarkable courage.
The Christmas season is a season of “giving”. We know that it is the day we celebrate the greatest gift ever given, and that’s Jesus Christ. The most precious gift of anyone. God gave us the very best He had.
